Inspirational programme helping young people around the world

The GFG Foundation has shared an update on its global activities during the first six months of 2024.
Although the student programme varies in each location, there is a common strategic approach focussing on encouraging STEM skills and enhancing personal development, with a tailored local execution.
GFG Foundation General Manager, Georgina Crumpton said the programme seeks to inspire, empower, and enable young people in industrial communities to reach their life and employment potential.
“Integral to all the GFG Foundation student programmes is the volunteer mentors from within the wider GFG family, who work with the students throughout the programme,” Georgina said.
“Their passion, patience and commitment towards supporting young people in their local communities is not only inspiring but truly commendable.”
The intention is to further expand the GFG Foundation footprint to locations where GFG has a significant business presence, building on the success to continue engaging with the local community by investing in our future generations.
