SIMEC Mining Tahmoor Coking Coal is calling on university students to apply for the company’s Graduate and Vacation Student programs in 2023-24.

As a GFG Alliance company, Tahmoor is part of the early career Pipeline Program that demonstrates the business’s commitment to rebuilding talent pipelines and subsequently building future capability in the business. The vacation program is a key feeder to the graduate programs, another key element of the Pipeline Programs, which also include apprentices and trainees. 

Graduate Program
2-year fixed-term placement where graduates will work on-site and alongside leading professionals in their field. With a structured professional development program, you will be participating in exciting projects and continuing to build your experience on the ‘ins and outs’ of our daily operations.

Tahmoor is offering graduate positions in:

  • Electrical engineering
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Communications/marketing

Vacation Program
This is a practical 12-week paid work placement over the summer break. This is an excellent opportunity for university students currently studying towards the completion of their degree.
